Job Description:

Assemblers will be required to assemble a wide variety of sub-assemblies and complete machines.

Work from show routing and drawings. Assemble, without direction repetitive orders for boxed goods, sub assemblies, and toolbars, row units and machines. Notify supervisors of unusual equipment, material or operating conditions.

Core Responsibilities

Perform accurate assemblies based on shop drawings, production orders, and verbal instructions
Effectively use various hand tools, pneumatic wrenches, overhead cranes, forklifts and other related shop equipment to accomplish tasks
Assemblers assemble machines, equipment, and the appropriate sub-assemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications
Heavy lifting of 50 pounds

Performance Expectations

Stand throughout the shift and use all extremities in varying positions, including bending, stooping, squatting and working from scaffolds.
Read and understand shop drawings, production orders or verbal instructions to produce quality products in an efficient manner.
Lifting parts and assemblies varying in size, weight and length, weighing from ounces to one hundred pounds, and inches to four feet in length.
Use various hand tools, pneumatic wrenches, and overhead cranes.
Maintain a clean work area and follow all prescribed and standard safety procedures.
Assembler may be required to perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma
Able to read assembly prints and follow written instructions.
Preferred: Certified Forklift Driver
Preferred: Previous Assembly Experience
